I think the smell of vomit has sunk into my skin, not to mention the sound of dry heaving being stuck in my ears. Sorry, Paige. Hope you feel better now. It is not comfortable living with a roommate that upset. Sadly I could not think of anything to properly cheer you up. Eating was out of the question, so that ruled ice cream out.
On a happier note, I hope someone does not forget my birthday. Does this school give driving lessons?

There is going to be a wedding...A WEDDING! I am so excited, but I have nothing to wear, what do I do?! Who sends out an invitation the day before?! I need to go shopping. This is horrible!

Sofia had grown up in Caracas, Venezuela with her mother, and used her powers very freely where she lived. She felt very comfortable with being a mutant as her mom did with her daughter being one. One day, however, her mother died and she was handed off to her uncle who didn't quite care for mutants. Because he didn't like them, he sent her to live with her father in Colorado. She was actually happy with the thought of meeting her birth father, but the fact of the matter was he was no better than her uncle. Upon coming to America she was told that she would have to learn English, not use her powers, and not bother him. Not bother him? She was a bother to her own father? She tried hard to do as he asked of her, but there was no luck in finding friends or even his attention. The isolation was slowly driving her insane, and the inability to use her powers even more so. Eventually, Sofia overheard someone say that nobody liked her. Upon hearing this she went to one of her father's stores and caused a hurricane decimating it, before curling up into the fetal position right in the center. She had made sure that no one was hurt in the process. When asked why she would do such a thing, she told him, because she wanted his attention to see if he even cared. This lead to him getting a paternity test proving that she was not his daughter. In the end, she was going to be deported back to Venezuela. Not wanting to deal with a repeat situation and end up in a game of musical relatives, she packed her bags and hopped the first bus out of there. She'd met a few interesting people on her way up to New York. Why New York?
